Where to begin?
Well I’ve been sleep deprived for over 6 months now. And I can catch 1-2 hours of sleep here and there, if lucky I could get 4. But anyways, the night before my midterm was due, I continued working on the damn project. My nose kept getting worse. Every 2 seconds I had to wipe it so I wouldn’t have snot on my drawing (sorry for the graphic picture). So by the time I finished and looked up at the clock, it was 4:30 A.M. Well, I was rolling along on adrenaline and thought “Hey! Look at me go!”

I got up and went to eat breakfast (oh no, that’s not early for breakfast. I usually eat at 4:00 A.M. b/c that’s the time I get up to exercise). And then I got ready for class.

(Do I look tired?)
When driving to school, it hits me that I’m exhausted. Right smack in the face. And I said “I need caffeine.” Now, you see I haven’t had coffee for about 5 years b/c before that I was really addicted to it, so I quit. I pull over to Starbucks and I get myself a Venti Soy Latte. About 11:00 A.M., I’m still dragging…I go buy another one. 1:00 P.M. comes around and I’m going to knock out and I buy another one. While cutting the foam board for my project, my hand starts shaking. I sit down and I start rocking back and forth like I was autistic. I look at the foam board and I say “Omigod! It looks like a rat nibbled on it” and start having a panic attack.
Got through that like crossing the Atlantic ocean with my hands tied behind my back. Before class even starts, I had even more panic attacks and continue shaking uncontrollably. I go to class and I wait for my professor. She comes in and I tell her I need to talk to her about something. So we go outside and I start BALLING like a baby. I thought I was going to flood the whole school. She calmed me down and told me to take 3 deep breaths (she did it with me. Seriously she’s such a sweetheart!). We start talking about my situation and I start laughing. LAUGHING! Then I cried. It was a roller coaster of emotions. Thank God, she found it funny too.
Ends up my condition was due to not only the caffeine, but the fact that I was sick, I had Mother Nature’s monthly gift, sleep deprived and majorly depressed. So everything was just rushing out of me. She described me as a punch drunk and as though I shot up heroin. Man, it was terrible. She was so understanding. I love that woman. She told me to go freshen up and come back to class when I thought I was ready. When I left, I felt paranoid and very claustrophobic. She let me leave early.
I got home at 5 P.M. and went to bed. I slept from 5:30 P.M. to about 5:30 A.M. and WOW. I never thought I’d live to see the day that I’d sleep that long. It was beautiful.
Here I am today. Semi-normal, but still tired. Did you learn the moral of the story? Because I sure did.
Did I bore you? I’m sorry.
Anywho…I found this at Starbucks. They’re coffee coated almonds. Mmmm, so good!

And I fell inlove with Vosges Calindia Bar. My cousin’s wife bought it for me in Las Vegas (we there about a month ago) from the Vosges shop (so expensive, but so worth it!). I like how it says it’s vegan on the packaging. The lady working there was vegan also (awesome!).
Speaking of Las Vegas. I went to the Grande Lux Cafe in the Venetian. I got this really good Crispy Sesame Tofu. Try to go there if you’re visiting.

I think that’s enough for today. It felt good to get that out of my system.

What the hell is this? It’s creeping me out…And so not vegan

Hello!
I’m semi-fully rested.
I went out to buy masking fluid for my watercolor piece and I found this…
Makes things SPARKLE. (!)
I went to Laguna Beach on Saturday. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive due to traffic and my uncle’s fab side-track driving. When we got there, we found out that the art festival was closed due to a gala. (grrr…) There was no mention of this on the website or any other place. Yes, I was majorly pissed.

But, hey! It’s Laguna, the place of artsy fartsy stuff. We went to a whole bunch of fine art galleries.

There’s a great veggie place there called “The Stand.” I give it one billion stars. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! My family loved it too (great for carnivores!).

Of course, the beach is awesome.

And at the of the day, what better to do than take crazy pictures with your camera?

Now I’m back to work on the Nobody’s Perfect. Fun (!).

By the way…Shiny Toy Guns released their new single (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I’ve been waiting so long for this, and here it is…the new STG without Carah Faye.
